Lough Derg House in Dromineer on the shores of Lough Derg is a Failte Ireland registered budget accommodation facility owned and operated by Declan Collison. It is a great base for thoes wishing to explore The Lough Derg Way, Slieve Felim Way, Keeper Hill, The Silvermines and the East Clare Way. All rooms are ensuite and have lake views, there is a drying room and plenty of information on the local walking routes, your host is a walking group leader and happy to advise or to guide you.

You may be interested in a Lyme awareness event being held April 15th at Diseart Centre in Dingle Co. Kerry (7-9pm).

The event will include a free presentation of the documentary Under Our Skin. A Lyme sufferer who was infected in County Kerry will be available for any questions.

Lough Derg House Dromineer is offering great value B&B rates €30 per person sharing for the Nenagh Walking Festival Sat 8th and Sunday 9th of May. Lough Derg House is a Failte Ireland budget accommodation facility on the shores of Lough Derg,a Trailhead of the lough Derg Way, the rooms are all ensuite and have lake views. Lough Derg House is part of the "Walkers Welcome iniatitive" with plenty of maps and a drying room available. This renovated stone building is a great place for groups and an evening meal can be organised on site or there is a great Pub 50 meters from our door.
